MERRY CHRISTMAS reminds us of the ONE who offers us everlasting peace. And though mankind have denied HIM ever since His introduction in Bethlehem and succeeding escape from the Tomb; yet the empty manger and grave suggest more than a missing person, it demonstrates the reality of someone else to be filled. He sacrificially emptied Himself, so as to fill us with the Hope, Peace, Joy and Love in our lives. I pray that the joy of the season and the merry of Christmas, provides us with the hope for a prosperous 2018 New Year.

Last Sunday we were in awe of our wonderful Sunday School presentation “A Super Christmas”. Our costumed super-heroes (superman/super-girl/spider man/hulk/cat-woman/bat-girl), mesmerized by His drawn worldly and heavenly attention, sure found out Who the real Super-Hero is, in the Advent of God’s son, Christ. They were fantastic in their acting and singing presentation. We also welcomed Rev. Wayne and Pat Russell who blessed us in music, and delivered an encourage word through Joseph. As P.Wayne puts it “Imagine it was Joseph first, who would demonstrate love to Christ, by accepting Him as his earthly Son, after pondering in his heart to put away Mary for possible adultery”.  This is what the Advent of Love offers to all who would believe.

“…Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.” Mathew 1:18b-20
