Giving God thanks for our Summer season of rest as we begin our ministry for the Fall season. God’s grace continues to be with us, in all our endeavors, amidst our challenges and recent loses. May our worship always go beyond, in spite of our praiseworthy Sunday fellowship. Our current message series of “I AM” in John’s gospel, affirms Christ equal divinity with God, the “I AM” of the Old Testament (John 8:58 vs. Exodus 3:14). Last Sunday we presented the first “I AM the Bread of Life”. When Jesus fed the 5,000, the crowd remembered God sending manna from Heaven to feed the Israelites in the wilderness. Their reactions became a materialistic want, but Jesus told the crowd: “Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you.” (John 6:27a). He further declared “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty.” John 6:33-35 Are you hungry? Bread of Heaven, feed me til I want no more…
