Emails are a common mode of communication today, but “kneemail” is a humbling heavenward mode of communication to God; no earthly WiFi is needed. Sunday’s service stirred our condition for prayer, from Solomon’s prayer in 2 Chronicles 7:14, at the dedication of the Temple and the people of Israel. In today’s comparison, God also calls us …MY people, who are called by MY name… but puts a similar series of “IF” conditions for us to be His people. “IF” we humble ourselves, “IF” we pray and seek His face, “IF” we turn from our wicked ways. Adam and Eve uttered the first prayer in Genesis when they responded to God in sin-hiding (3:10), but failed the “IF” condition. However, “IF” you stay faithful and obedient, then you will hear from heaven, and God will forgive your sin and will heal our land. So get on your knees, and send your prayer-mail through the spiritual WIFI of Jesus Christ, our mediator. (1 Timothy 2:5)
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son (Hebrews 1:1-2b)
