Have you wondered how money and finances work?

The real secret to not worrying about money comes back to the basics. You are never too young to learn about money and how to make your finances work for you. Join us as we gather in-person over 3 Saturdays for an introduction to financial knowledge.

 

When: October 1, 8th and 15th from 12 pm – 2 pm

Series Overview

  • Session 1: Oct 1 – Financial literacy basics

What is money and how does it work? How to save, grow and spend your money, wants vs needs –  intro to budgeting, practical tips

  • Session 2: Oct 8 – Setting financial goals

Credit & Debit: How to build and maintain good credit, credit reports and history – intro to mortgages

  • Session 3: Oct 15 – How to obtain financial freedom/live without worrying about money

Intro to investment (basic information, practice accounts, what symbols mean) – TFSA & RRSP –  Saving for education
